Ever wanted to give writing a go? Are you looking to meet other writers or gain inspiration for your current work?

As part of Bedlam Theatre‘s ‘Give It A Go Week’, we’re hosting a workshop with EUTC Candlewasters, a company of actors and directors who are part of Bedlam Theatre.

A space to meet other writers, try out writing exercises, and learn more about both PublishED and Candlewasters. Although our writing submissions are not yet open for the current semester, PublishED is beginning work on a new issue of The Inkwell and would love script submissions.

See our workshop as a space to get some inspiration! Or even—as the name suggests—a space to just give it a go.

Bedlam Theatre

Bedlam Theatre is the home of the Edinburgh University Theatre Company (EUTC), a student-run theatre company dating back to 1871. The EUTC moved into the Bedlam building in 1980 and now put on over 40 shows a year. They regularly hold workshops and provide students with the opportunity to cultivate skills, ranging from directing and acting to stage and lighting design.
